Commissioner District 4 - Kevin D. Guidry
Biographical Data
Kevin Guidry is a lifelong resident of Lake Charles and a former elected official of the Calcasieu Parish Police Jury. He attended Louisiana State University on a 4-year athletic scholarship and was a football varsity athlete. Post an 8-year professional football career, he recently retired from the casino industry after working in marketing and sales for over 25 years.
He remains actively involved in his community, having served on the Calcasieu Parish Drug Advisory Board, Southwest Marine Institute, and the Louisiana State Board of Child Abuse Prevention, among others.
He is married to the former Michelle Gallow and is the father of two daughters, Kayla and Khristian.
Mr. Guidry was appointed to the Louisiana Tax Commission on February 23, 2024.
